I am putting on a colonial New Zealand Wars demonstration game as a public event to help mark our National Day of Commemoration on Saturday 28 October.

Today I started gathering together the resources I'll need for a game set in 1845/46, using Dan Mersey's 'The Men Who Would Be Kings' colonial wargaming rules.

I'v posted about the forces, the terrain and the rules I plan to use here on my blog: link to Dressing The Lines blog

If only I still lived in the Manawatu I'd be close enough to make a day trip.
