Agreed – also nicely captures just how cramped a modern AFV is inside despite how big it may be outside; the few times I have been in an AFV have made me think tankers must be immune to claustrophobia

Certainly much nicer--and much more spacious!--than the M577's I used to ride around in. Frederick's right: if tight spaces bother you, you probably shouldn't hire on as a treadhead. (It was always fun watching the airborne types after they'd spent a few months in the basement of the Pentagon, too.)

Me? Better inside some nice thick metal than to be dropped from a helicopter or an airplane with the assurance that the rope probably wouldn't snap, or that the parachute ought to open.
