For those interested in the Russo-Japanese War 1904-05 and (like me) unaware of the excellent Two Marshals blog let me provide the link for you. link

Using (primarily) Pendraken Miniatures 10mm range, Alan Millicheap and Shedman have created a marvellous introduction to gaming the war.

Of particular note is the comparison games using three different rule sets (Battles for Empire, Contemptible Little Armies, and Future War Commander); the breakdown of figures to bases, the suggestion to delve into other Pendraken ranges to supplement any shortages in the RJW range; battlefield scenery and trenches;

and my favourite, the using of scenarios from Charles Stewart Grant's Scenarios for Wargamers.

The whole Two Marshals blog is very comprehensive with multiple other interesting theatres war and is well worthy of long slow perusing. Recommended.

@ dragon6 – you're welcome.

@ Sherman – it's an amazing site and I'm very pleased to have discovered it.

I noticed afterwards that you have previously posted AARs on TMP but I had somehow missed those at the time. Anyway I'm convinced now that 10mm is the scale for me in RJW. Siege of Port Arthur here I come.
