Hey all,

I am in need of some fall foliage stuff… A couple fall trees, some ground scattered, some bushes…

Anybody know if there will be any vendors at fall in who would carry this? I'm especially looking for realistic dry leaves scatter that I can put down…

Lord Ashram21 Oct 2017 8:19 a.m. PST

And by the way, if anyone has any suggestions for really good fall basing, I would take any of them :-)

I would try out Battlefield Terrain Concepts (Doug Kline).

Is the Woodland Scenics guy going to be there?

Lord Ashram21 Oct 2017 9:38 a.m. PST

Yeah, love the BTC stuff… But I'm looking to do something for a diorama, and his stuff tends to be more wargames table… ?

Oh, woodland scenics would be great probably…

Not exactly what your're looking for, but I will be bringing Gamer's Grass tufts:

Auto-Adhesive Grass Tufts by Gamer's Grass!
Tufts in a lots of different colors and heights. Wild "sized" tufts are tufts in a wide variety of shapes and sizes.
Two plastic sheets of 5.5cm x 8cm plenty with Gamer's Grass tufts per pack. Tufts come off the sheet one by one, they are ready to put on the miniatures/scenery.

You will find me at booth 40 (right at the entrance)!

Ah, the tufts are great, but I actually bought a flock box and so make my own now:)

Ideally I'm looking for maybe four or five fall colored trees, some fall bushes, and a BUNCH of ground scatter in the form of red and yellow leaves and such….

Scenic express in Pennsylvania. Sort of expensive but all kinds of railroad scenics.

Lord Ashram: We will have some of what you are looking for so come by and look and chat with me. We carry a large range of scenic supplies.

It is a little late to get anything I currently do not have in stock as my restock orders are already here or on the way. Also give me a call if you want.

I will have some autumn trees and may be able to make you some in-based if you desire.

Sounds good, I'll come by… thanks Doug!

Neal Smith21 Oct 2017 12:21 p.m. PST

Yep, I was going to say he has supplies… :)

Lord Ashram, that was "unbased" trees. Email me if you want to discuss.

We haven't heard if TreeGirl will be gracing Wall's Basement this Fall-In: she
sells handmade trees and usually, homemade cookies.

Unfortunately Scenic Express will not be at Fall In this year, they have a prior commitment that weekend for a train show.

Lord Ashram22 Oct 2017 8:05 a.m. PST

Damn. Was really hoping they would be there…
