"New Horus Heresy rule book coming soon" Topic

Basically a cleaned up 7th edition with all the non-useful to the Heresy parts taken out.

I will certainly be buying one, it will be nice to have all the Heresy rules in one place, even though we will probably keep on using 3rd edition for the basic rules.

I have a growing interest in playing 30K. This might be what pushes me over.

Here is the article on it. I will probably pick it up. We don't use 7th edition but if it is a streamlined version with only the rules you need for the armies available, we might start.

I fully intend to vote with my wallet by preordering this.

I think the core rules of 7th edition are fine, and combined with the 30k army lists makes for a good game. But I wish they would just go ahead and move 30k to 8th edition, it would be better IMO.

Am a big heresy player and invested in no less than 3 sizeable armies and have been playing since it was first introduced.

Although with the advent of 8th Edition I fell away from Heresy gaming, as did my pretty active HH group (about 12 in total). We've all reverted to 40k and none of us really feel the urge to play 7th, even if 30k was always better than 40k when they shared the same system. The general consensus between us is that everyone loves the Heresy story, models etc but no one really wants to play it till it eventually goes to 8th.

Unfortunately it has been delayed.

Any idea on the price for this? I'm quite wary of spending money on something I may have little need for…
