They are also going to be releasing two new board games as well as dice games set in the 40K universe.

I'm NOT looking forward to seeing the difference in quality of components between FFG and WK.

They should have gone to CMoN.

How many times can they reprint Fury of Dracula? Id like to see something along the lines of Space Crusade.

Space Crusade uses the 40K IP & is pretty close to an miniatures game

as a former GW employee – I don't see GW letting anyone do anything that close to their core business (again)

The game has a long, long way to go before it starts to catch up with the movies!

WHAT ARE DICE GAMES? No minis?

PzGeneral19 Oct 2017 11:46 a.m. PST

Rz, correct. Games that use dice only, like Dicemaster or Dragon Dice……

My guess, a Dicemaster like game set in the 40k universe…

Hmm… I thought 40K *was* a dice game. That also had miniatures.

Not so good. Wizkids quaity not best.

If it follows the trend GW have been on for the last 3 years or so then I think it will probably be good stuff. I don't really know WizKids other than the clix. The clix seemed to be pretty good quality products for what it was. Not really my cup of tea exactly.

We will see. Straight up board games and dice games aren't really my thing either most of the time so it might not end up mattering to me much one way or the other.

I wonder how that license will dovetail with Devils Pig Games 40K version of Heroes of Normandie?

@Dentatus – nicely said.

The way I see it, FFG's Star Wars: Legion game became competition for GW, so they ganked the Dracula and Relic games and brought them to WizKids.

The Dice Master ruleset is just custom dice representing armies or individuals. The clicky-base is something GW doesn't have and going through WK gets them into toy stores and even card shops.

Now, if this works, what do you want to bet that you get Battlefleet Gothic: Attack Wing in a year?
