I did this scenario as a solo game, because I didn't want to inflict an experimental game on anyone before I'd tried it. It needs some work--I was mostly trying to make Stealth more significant, with only partial success. But at least I got to use a whole lot of minis!

Who makes a good marching band? It doesn't much matter what era they're from--modern day bands are pretty anachronistic. But the only musicians I have are Skaven and goblins, which wouldn't have worked in a pulp setting.

I dunno. From the looks of him, that guy could easily be the military advisor from the Court of Oz.
Fun scenario even without the marching band…but it sure would have made a great visual.

Maybe fez up their kepis?
Or just give them an Ottoman colour scheme?

Or how about a bagpiper?
Or 6?

If he ever makes it to the embassy, he could at least find the Eureka band in session:

Or a few of them could possibly be following along behind, N'awlins style. He'd have to be struttin' his stuff, though.

Say,how about putting the rhythm section on an old flatbed? Roll to see if the driver panics, and goes careening through the crowd.

Very cool!

Thanks for the suggestions. I suppose a few drummers or bagpipers would be nice. Of course I could just have a few military guys marching along to make it more of a parade. Or I looked into getting a few Blood Bowl cheerleaders. But really--for me a marching band would have limited play value.

Oh well--crap I'm suggestible. I just bought a flat bed truck and a band (tho I got Jinx Johnson from Pulp Figures instead of Eureka).
