Just out of curiosity…I was wondering how many other TMPers game Scifi in 20mm? 18mm to true 25mm counts I would think. How about 54mm? I am afflicted with both addictions sadly. It can be quite a challenge getting materials. I like to kitbash though…which really helps. |

I game in True 25mm. Grenadier, Heritage, Gzg, Starguard and West End games all run that scale. I love the old Heritage Power armor figs. Very cool! Thanks, John |

I'd also like to find Scifi in 20mm. Alien technological species, far future humans… and all of the kind. Not succeed up to the moment. I tried some very nice 6mm, but my tired eyes don't want to move from 20mm. Good luck in your research. |

Same Same with John Leahy. I would add the old RalPartha Battletroops to my list. |

The Valonians from Rebel Minis are 20mm. Makes for a good main-line alien opponent. rebelminis.com/vain.html 20 figs for $14 USD is hard to beat…cheaper than most metal 20mm moderns. My Valonians are a race that subjugates less advanced ones. I Pair them up with Reaper Kulathi so they have some big brutes: link And the occasional Bathalian as a hulking monstrosity: link Throw in some very 20mm-ish grav tanks: link ..and some tall powersuits: link repainted of course…and you have a very serviceable 20mm alien faction. |

15mm for games of 20 figures and up and 28mm for less than 20 figure games. |

Not a poll…just asking who games scifi in 20s and 54s. |

Hey John…since you would know better than most…do the Action Fleet figs scale up well to GZG 25mm non-powered infantry? |

Anyone remembers GWs Inquisitor? Those were nice 54mm minis (and a decent game). Sadly no one plays it these days and the minis are quite expensive second hand. I would love to play 20mm scifi, if there were minis for different factions. |

Yeah, They will work. I have some Starship Trooper ones that are fine with them as well as my Star Wars ones. I knew I forgot someone. Battletech troops. Yep, those work and are quite cool. My Starguard Dreenoi just got reinforced. 3 New cock roach tanks! Putting the last one together tonight. Very cool! I'll also use them for my 15mm vibrant. Thanks, John |

The dollar store also put out some decent true 25mm sci-fi figs.I own a load of them! There are some others I can't remember as well. |

Auto-correct sucks. I meant my 15mm bug army. Thanks. |

I game Starguard as well as the "Space Battles" 1/72 scale kits. My 54mm sci-fi is more like 45ish, haven't actually measured their height. I use the bucket of "The Corps" plastic army men from Walmart. I mix in the TimMee Galaxy Laser Team for aliens. |

Started large 20mm Sci-Fi army using Blade 20mm figures from SHQ – fantastic hard Sci-Fi stuff. Still in semi-production somewhere. Use converted old mini-tanks for vehicles. Have a variation of Combat Command (Future Commander) that covers near future. Need to finish it and get it in print. Great neglacted scale. We should ban together and do some games (esp if I every finish the rules…) Thomas J. Thomas Fame and Glory Games |
