What's more important to you, the miniature hobbyist? Sports by a lot Sports by a little Both equally Cinema by a lot Cinema by a little Neither |

I (only) follow two motorsports: F1 and IMSA – and – I'm a movie buff so I'd say both equally. |
Dynaman8789 | 16 Oct 2017 6:54 a.m. PST |
I wouldn't follow any sport if you paid me. So Cinema by a lot. |

Neither. When younger I enjoyed participating to sports but never watching. x42 |

Depends if my favorite teams are winning. But I guess sports a little bit. Our club puts on gaming ever 2nd Sunday at one of the local game stores. During football season, forget it. I am home watching, not gaming. Fortunately we have gaming taking place all during the week. |

About equal, though I rarely go to the movies and this year's sports interest has taken a nose dive for me. If it weren't for my son's love of sports (and his hope for a career in the industry), I probably wouldn't be keeping up with the current season at all. All in all, I'd much rather be gaming. |

Equally: not at all. Don't watch sports on TV, last time I went to the cinema was around the turn of the century. |
USAFpilot | 16 Oct 2017 8:15 a.m. PST |
Neither, but I'd rather watch a good movie at home than watch sports on tv. |
Zyphyr | 16 Oct 2017 8:32 a.m. PST |
Cinema, but only because watching sports has exactly zero attraction for me. I do, on the other hand go out to watch a movie 2 or 3 times a year. |
The Beast Rampant | 16 Oct 2017 9:03 a.m. PST |
I guess equal. though I only watch college football. The Blood Bowl kind, not the foosball kind. |
Patrick Sexton | 16 Oct 2017 9:38 a.m. PST |
Movies, by a decent margin. |
miniMo | 16 Oct 2017 10:21 a.m. PST |
Very strange question and seemingly pointless question. There are a lot lot of movies that pertain in varying degrees to miniatures gaming of all different periods, including fantasy sports games. There is very little actual sports that has much bearing on miniatures gaming. |

If I have to choose, cinema all the way. I don't watch sports at all. Damon. |

Sports--I live and die with the Seattle Mariners--mostly die. I love movies, but don't go often, but do catch them on streaming services. |

Bunkermeister | 16 Oct 2017 10:48 p.m. PST |
The last time I got a paid admission to a sporting event to go to a professional sporting event was to see a broadcast of the Indianapolis 500 at the Long Beach, CA Arena in about 1964. I go to the movies about twice a year, only because the movies are so bad and so expensive. This year we saw Wonder Woman, not as bad as I expected, I will probably get it used on DVD, and Birth of a Dragon, about Bruce Lee, very good movie. So cinema by a long shot. Both equally. Not very important, but an equal not very important for either type of entertainment. |

Care nothing for sports. Love movies. As for the "Cinema", I go very rarely--I have a still-unused gift card for Regal from last Christmas. I did want to see Dunkirk, but didn't get to it. For the rest, I mostly watch DVD's,as given a choice, I'd rather watch a mediocre film from the 30's or 40's than one from the last couple of decades. |
