Hello again all,
Finally finished these. Another great set by GZG. Some of the faces are truly exceptional.
The Blue Sun circle was made by punching out a piece of hard foam & using it as a stamp. First dark blue then light blue. A piece of netting was used to airbrush the Tan camo on the vehicle whilst the one on the helmets was done with a 3x3mm piece of foam stuck to a toothpick.

They look really good.

A good looking force. The name is a throwback to Mass Effect?

I have those as well. Mine are called the Black Rose Mercs…. love your scratch built vehicles.

Where did u get the bearded officer with red beret and arm up in the air? I dont recognize him….nicely done.

Nice.

Thank you all.
No relation to Mass Effect.Just liked the blue imprint i had made for the insignia , that's all 😎… never played the game.
The name just came to mind.
Great minis aren't they Twoball?
Gzg does consistently nice minis ( though I have to say I don't like all his minis but that is personal choice that's all )
That mini is an Ion Age adventurer, here's the link, my friend.Enjoy. Just keep in mind that Ion age are generally slimmer as minis go but they work well with Gzg.

The vehicles did come out good and I like the jeeps most.
I have a good mind to do more.
The trick is to find what works best for you & make the most of it.

thumbs up !!

Thanks zrune. I never would have guessed ionage for that figure. We paint and base minis about the same skill level…but u are light years ahead w scratch building…

I mixed my gzg Mercs with some armies army insurgents…besides the leader of those AA mins…the rest are a tad smaller in the head than the gzg minis.

Overall gzg minis are superb.

Some pretty good looking minis. Who makes that mech?

zrunelord21 Oct 2017 7:40 a.m. PST

Thanks 2Ball,
Would be interesting to see our minis on the same table. Honestly I used to flinch at the idea of scratchbuilding but once you go over that hurdle….

Thanks Matt,
That mech is made by Zringi ( Zrn Galactic Industries ) 😁😁

Scratchbuilt using Em4 hy mech legs & a mostly card/wood upper body.DP9 missile caps + wood/card. 28mm m/c guns.

Em4 mechs are great for 15mm & cheap to boot.Material is not as easy as poly to convert & only superglue can be used.

Check out my Polish Brigade also.
