This is the last of just under 1000 Calpe Prussians I've been working on over the last 3 years. 7th (2nd) West Prussian Regiment, 1st, 2nd and Fusilier battalions 12 figures each. Thanks for all you encouragement over the years!!

These look really good! What rules are you using with small units like this? |

Didn't you say that last week? :-) Are these your last last then? :-) Nice work. I haven't painted any napoleonics in quite a long time. This is kind of giving me the itch to do so…. |

Thanks gents! I would like to take photos of the whole army, but I lack the space to do so. I may take pics of portions? sixlasers – we are using Shako 2. We decided on smaller units as a group so that we could play big battles such as Waterloo, Wagram, Austerlitz and Ligny. We have played them all. We are doing Waterloo again Oct 29th. idontbeleivit – yes, said that last week, but they were still a WIP Work In Progress. Flags and Basing now finished. Napoleonics are a lot of fun, they are very colorful and create lots of great games. |

I have got the the original Shako rules. Is it worth upgrading to Shako 2? |
wrgmr1 | 16 Oct 2017 3:02 p.m. PST |
sixlasers – Yes, Shako 2 is streamlined, has a number of rule changes which makes it flow better. There is also much better clarification of rules. Cheers, Thomas |

Thomas thanks for the info. May I also ask you how you base your cavalry regiments? Thanks Dave |
wrgmr1 | 17 Oct 2017 8:31 a.m. PST |
sixlasers- cavalry are 6 figures on 3 bases. Artillery are two guns and crew. Horse guns are all on one big base, foot and heavy guns on two bases placed side by side. Cheers, Thomas |
