I haven't been able to find any real star wars miniatures, for 28mm nor 15mm.
To be honest, i'd be definitely up for getting some look-alikes or similar sci fi soldiers and converting them to clonetroopers or stormtroopers and CIS droids etc etc.
I was also thinking of some Revell stuff, for like an AT-AT, and I really wanted a Venator Class Destroyer from them.

Any advice is appreciated.

Imperial Assault might help you, for 28mm.

Imperial Assault is a good one. I just came into a large lot of it and I rather like the figures.

Are you familiar with the upcoming Star Wars Legion game by FFG?

It' looks to be 30 or 32mm which is annyoingly just big enough to look too big next to Imperial Assault minis. However, they look great and the scope appears to be aimed at games of a platoon or two per side, so it might be just what you're looking for.

Lastly, if you're looking for some good rules, check out "Blasters and Bulkheads" It's in it's second edition and while the cover doesn't feature a not-Jedi anymore (the first edition did) it should still be a great option for those who want to game Star Wars or other Pulp-Sci-Fantasy Space Opera settings.

Hang on for Legion. It will be a great game. FFG is positioning itself to be a major player in miniature game manufacturers.

Legion is going to be huge. Can't wait.

I use these from Brigade as storm troopers. With the right pint job they are spot on.

I was thinking of trying to find something similar to clone troopers or even stormtroopers, prefferably phase 2 clones.
I was thinking maybe even the new primaris space marines from 40k without shoulder pads nor bagpacks.

Also, about Legion, it looks really awesome, but idk if they will have options to buy smaller packs of seperate soldiers/units?
If they will, I'll definitely be buying some of those.

Legion will definitely have expansion packs. If you want to get an idea for what size releases Legion will have it's probably a good idea to take a look at what they've done for "Runewars" which was their first stab at real miniature wargaming.

I'm darn tempted by Legion, but I just got into Imperial Assault and I need a new game like a hole in my head. If my spawn takes a liking to it however, I'd be hard pressed to resist buying in.
