Turn of the music!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

I hear ya brother. The best reason to log in to TMP is so I don't have to listen to the music. On the other hand … YouTube link |

I cannot understand why the posts from Tango01 cause such disruption. I read on average over 50% of his posts just based on the titles and find them most informative. Does this cause any harm I am unaware of? Greg |

No disruption really, but the saturation does have the effect of masking the comments, inquiries and interests of others. Even if that is just by pushing others further down the listings. Often it seems to make the site look less focused on miniature wargaming. I can just sign in and make it all go away if I like, but today it just seemed like site spamming regardless of the topics posted. |

I put Tango on the "ignore". His spamming makes it to hard to find actual miniatures stuff. If what he posts has any content that relates to my interests I will see it when I check out the individual boards. |

I did the same thing. The Volume to Value ratio was just too high for the rare post that was of interest to me. YMMV |

Sounds like the proper approach to light one candle instead of cursing the darkness. |

Tango is the major reason I decided to opt out and stop being a paying member. |

What music ? I don't hear any ? I even have my hearing aids in ! And I agree with you princeman … If someone does not like what another posts, stifle him/her … or even don't read the post(s)! No one is forced to read any posts on TMP that they may not be interested in, dislike, etc. |
dragon6 | 14 Oct 2017 8:27 a.m. PST |
Ignore solves the Tango problem. You don't see the posts at all so no grey blanked spots that still push other posts down and off the page. |
Goober | 15 Oct 2017 3:40 a.m. PST |
Yup. Tango may be a fine fellow, but the volume of his posts, and the lack of checking to see if a topic has already been posted, has caused him to be added to my Ignore list. |
IronDuke596 | 15 Oct 2017 9:16 a.m. PST |
I am with princeman, I don't understand the issue. If you don't like his posts ignore them. I find that he frequently finds gems that I would not normally come across. |
Porthos | 16 Oct 2017 4:21 a.m. PST |
I am quite happy with his posts. Anyone who is not, just ignore… |
alan L | 16 Oct 2017 6:14 a.m. PST |
I must say I do value Tango's postings. He frequently posts items that I would never have come across. |
Legion 4 | 16 Oct 2017 6:29 a.m. PST |
Yep, I agree with the last few posts as well … Again, No one forces us to go to any post. And if you go to it and it does not interest you … go to another that might, yes ? |
Marc at work | 17 Oct 2017 1:57 a.m. PST |
Have you forgotten the ignore option, or are you just being unkind to Armand? |
Earl of the North | 17 Oct 2017 4:26 a.m. PST |
This is strange, you have the ability to not see his posts so while I could understand those who lobbied for that option originally what is the point of this now? Is this just so everybody knows you've chosen to ignore Tango……seems like something I didn't need to know or even care about. |

I only look at Tango's or anyone's posts that interest me … I like Tango, have no problem with him. As I/we know TMP is not always [if ever ?] one happy family. There will always be differences of opinions, predilections, etc., etc. We should try to handle those type of things without vitriol, derision, berating, etc. I know I am no angel, but I'm trying … |
