Hi all.just got some 15mm mounted knights from Cecilia.my question is what colours are the elaborate helms painted?they look like plumes or possibly flowers!!totally confused….

Have a look at things like the painting of the Battle of San Romano which is the inspiration for those figures.

Plume feathers. The single feather is usually unicolor, though different colors for different feathers on the same helmet were common.
