I posted a few photos of our games at ATC convention last weekend, on our website:

We ran a couple sessions of our Battery Wagner (from the movie, "GLORY") scenario.

ATC has about 200-300 attendees and a dozen vendors. The HMGS-Great Lakes folks have a sweet arrangement with their venue. The con is held in a local museum who keep the doors open til midnight to accommodate the gamers, with a lockable conference room for the dealers. The event is free for vendors. The hotel (Marriott) is directly across the street.

The HMGS-GL staff said their attendance was up this year. I was particularly impressed with the number of young people (under 30) I saw at the con. We had young people who took part in each of our games.

Thanks for looking, Larry GettysburgSoldiers.com

I had a good time. My brother and I were also impressed with the number of young folks playing historical war games. The young lady in the photo played ACW, AWI, and what looked like a Cold War flying game involving fighter jets.

As always, Larry's games are a pleasure to look at.

Thanks to all GMs, vendors, volunteers, and anyone else I may have missed.

Great job to everyone who put on a game, organized it all, had good refreshments, orderly, and gamers. Definitely on my list of conventions now…..from a Michigander. It was my first time there. A pleasure putting on East Cemetery Hill Johnny Reb game, playing in others and great venue. A lot of fun and beautiful games.
