I have been watching advertisements for DBA tournaments since about 1992 and this is the first time that I've ever seen reference that the figures need to be painted :-) I have been participating in tournaments since about 1993, and no one has ever showed up with an unpainted army, or one painted in only two colors. Is this a common problem in Texas? |

No, it's not a problem. I've been going to this tournament for years, and never seen unpainted figures. And it's a great event, Blake is a real pro at organizing by. He also runs a HOTT tournament the same day. |

Bob: Not definitively speaking for the Texas guys… but this looks to be basic Games Workshop tournament boiler plate text that translates as, "please don't bring an unpainted army… We have loaners if you don't have a painted one and want to play." A nice precaution…hopefully not needed… but a precaution never the less. Joe Collins |

The beauty of Ancients is, the only three colours you need are bronze, blood and dirt! |
