I didn't have the time to post a report, so it's from last septembre.

On the 17th of septembre during the weekend of the rememberances at Arnhem, Adie and I played a Rapid Fire Arnhem 1944 game in Arnhem centre.

Just before that, we had a visit from Colin Rumford and his friends.

For me a great moment to meet the guy, responsible for starting this huge Arnhem project. Ah well, he gave a good hint ;)

We had some good talks about the set up, rules and the 3D prints (the houses etc).
Thanks for the visit guys!!

After this visit we started with the Grabner Rush….which succeeded due to the :banghead: dice. They deployed quickly at the base of the bridgehead.
The Advanced was met, but when the next forces appeared, the 6 ponders did everything they could to stop te advances. Many were killed in trying.
The schools had to be abonded after hard men to men fight. Only the engineers at the Oranjewacht and the sheds at the bridge were able to hold the advance and use the flamethrower effective. But it only was a small victory.
the MDS at the old hospital was lost and taken over by the germans.
Frost and both HQs had to withdraw under pressure at high costs…
Again the Germans were succesfull in retaking the bridge.

Next game will be at Overloon Museum on the 21st of octobre and on the 4th of november at Crisis

What a great looking game! I bet it was a ton of fun to play.

Yes Ragbones it is and still is, altough setting up the complete game (8x 1.80/ 1.50m) is only for 2 or 3 moments a year.
