As an avid BLB fan I am not excited by what I have heard of the new version. One can hope that the fears are not justified. |

Not frightened as much as disenchanted. Some posts on the LoA website about using different types of dice to resolve issues beyond the 6/10 of BLB. |

As far as I know, there is a 'Quality' dice so the better you are the bigger dice you use.
I cannot for the life of me remember where I saw this!!!
If so, I use the same in many of my own rules and it works well. |

is a big fan of the Age of Sail, and these ships really speak to him - he loves transitional eras, and the Anglo-Dutch Wars was one of those.
