Our Club open day saw fourteen players arrive to refight the Second Battle of Winchester in early 1863, though much modified into a large scale what-if type engagement.

The game was fought over two tables, the first table had Ewell's two divisions fighting a single division from the Union VIII corps under Schenck, in front of Winchester itself; while over on the second table (to the south of Winchester), we had a massive expansion of Rhodes flanking attack to the north of the town, attacking a further enemy division (or more!).
