I just finished watching all of the episodes. Very well done, excellent characters, a few flaws, wish it hadn't been cancelled before the end of Season 1… |

Have to call its cancellation one of the biggest modern missteps in entertainment executive decisions. The rest of the cast and the creator were all so talented they got hired on for so many projects afterward, by the time the fanbase made clear the mistake, it was too late to relaunch the series. Proof of how magical the potential was, and how we must appreciate those gems we do get both EARLY and LOUDLY to prevent a repeat. |

I saw it but didn't care for it Farscape was far better as well as Star Trek and Babylon 5. |

@Dynaman8789 – don't worry, I'm sure the bloodstains from that harpoon will come out in the wash … (and don't give me any of that "too soon, bro" . It's been 10 years, plenty of time to get over it. |

Ohh. Didn't know Dark Matter got the axe. It could be confusing, but I watched it. I kept mixing the plots of Dark Matter and Killjoys. |

Will be interesting to see what happens with 'The Expanse.' Dar Matter was decent, but not 'Firefly'… |

Love the series, did not care for the movie (I am of the IDNH group on that one). Alas, we have lost Shepherd Book, but there's otherwise no reason the series couldn't be continued "a few years later," or even between Book's leaving and the events of the film (though personally, I'd just drop the film as "apocryphal." It never really resolved the whole "hands of blue" aspect, much less the question of Book's past.*) *Yes, I know about the graphic novels and their explanation of Book's history. My take on that is, it ain't canon if it ain't on a TV screen, and even that's subject to change. |

Actually loosing Wash was a big blow too |

*Yes, I know about the graphic novels and their explanation of Book's history. My take on that is, it ain't canon if it ain't on a TV screen, and even that's subject to change. Ron Glass asked for some explanation from JW about Book's backstory, and the result was the 'Shepherd's Tale' comic, which frankly was at odds at some things we saw on screen. |

I should have been clearer that by "losing Shepherd Book," I actually meant the loss of the actor, Ron Glass, not the character. My thought for the series would be to either set it between the last moment of the series and the movie, so Wash is still around, or to simply ignore the events of the film completely and continue from a point of a few more years moseying about the 'Verse. |
