Salutations, gentlefolk ! OK, If 'you've seen everything…', if you can tell who produced these miniatures and what their catalog called them – here's your chance to show it! The millimeter scale in pictures is a cut-up Ikea measuring tape. First – Horse, 'large 15 mm', from 19th Century Miniatures, wondering what riders it was meant for
Second – a Peltast – or ?
Third – Cataphract w lance and bow
A couple of the pictures were shot with the 'High Dynamic Range Imaging' feature of the Open Camera software for Android, apologies for the 'double exposure' effect, won't do it again. Thanks, very much, for any help you can give me with this. |

I'm pretty sure the Cataphract is from Minifig. Sorry but that's the limit of my knowledge on this topic. |

I'm pretty sure the second figure is a Tin Soldier Hellenistic javelinman. They were provided with separate shields. I don't think the cataphract is from Minifigs. I have a bunch of their Avars and Eastern Steppe types which would look similar and this figure is far more detailed especially the helmet/face and the armour. Also the base looks too thick to be Minifigs. Perhaps I'm wrong. Regardless, a very nicely sculpted figure. |

The horse on the third figure is definitely Minifigs. Moghul dynasty horse. The Cataphract is definitely NOT a Minifigs rider. Almost reminds me of a Viking Forge figure or possibly Naismith. |

That cataphract rider is an Outpost Miniatures Steppe nomad HC figure. |

Sorry that should read Outpost Wargames Services, here link Figure is Avar HC. Shield is separate I think. |

The infantryman with javelin is definiotely Tin Soldier 15mm. I have a couple of armies of them built some 30 plus years ago and still in use. Though a bit squat they are excellent figures and wsere still available a few years back at least in the UK. |

The horse in the first picture looks to be from The Black Raven Foundry fantasy line sold by 19th century. |

Salutations, gentlefolk ! Thanks _very_ much for your help. OK, Tin Soldier: checked their website, seem to be using the same photos on their website 'twere in their printed catalog, 20 years ago… Have bunch of Miscellaneous Detached Shields, probably including theirs, but oneovdezedaze will do post on shield making… Minifigs Moghul horses – veddy hard finding more of these, I assume ;-). Horse barding of felt or leather or textile or ?? a fancy 'Parade uniform' color scheme ? References earnestly sought. Actually have some Outpost Avar HCv in lead pile… Black Raven horses – OK, sometime suitable riders will turn up… Again, thanks! |
