Anyone have photos of how these compare? I want to supplement my Wargames Foundry Plains War US Cavalry (listed as 28mm) and want to know if the Old Glory Warpaint figures (listed as 25mm) could be mixed with them

They are very close to the same size. The Old Glory is a tiny bit smaller and more slender.

However, the real difference is in the tack. The Old Glory are definitely Hollywood style. The troopers have sabers & they have only a bed roll behind the saddle. Whereas the Foundry, Artizan, & Dixon have bed roll, canteens, feed bags, rope, and other equipment.

In other words, the Foundry figures look as though they are on campaign while the Old Glory ones look as though they're ready for a scene in a John Ford movie.

I concur with Atomic Floozy. The Old Glory are nice but kitted out differently than the Foundry figures. I have Foundry, Old Glory, and Dixon. They all match up size wise but Dixon matches
Foundry the best.

yea, agree. Like both myself, but, Foundry are historically better.

If anyone is interested I have a bunch of unpainted Foundry Plains Wars figures that I could sell. PM me for details
