Saturday 23rd September saw the conclusion of the Battle of Antietam series of linked games at New Buckenham Historical Wargamers. Two previous games on Friday nights had seen the Confederate forces in the North fall back to the 'sunken lane' position to await further Union assaults.
This game would see the southern half of the battlefield added, including Burnside Bridge and Sharpsburg itself.

A hard days fighting later saw a narrow victory for the Confederates.

The best historical scenario table setup I've seen with loose terrain features.
Well done
David
