I have seen a few youtubes regarding the new rules (which are coming out on 22 OCT). Has anyone used the older ones? How are they? Does anyone know the changes/improvements for the new ones?

Any experience and opinions with the old or even the new rules (any playtesters?) welcome.

Thanks.

I can't speak for the old ones, but the new set hase some slick mechanisms (an evolution of both PBI and the new Vietnam set) that play fast.

The squares may seem a little weird, but don't actually get in the way and do speed things along. Cover for the advance to contact is crucial: things can get brutal quickly if caught in the open! The cunning use of "assets" can be important too.

Lots of fun and a lovely range of figures to go with them.

Quite interesting, then. Thanks for sharing!

Great to see that the new rules are now available in hardcopy with *.PDF version to follow later in the year.

The new rules make a great game, with an excellent pregame to set the scene and create an attacker / defender game.I did not play the previous version. This version has been play tested and has now created a streamlined game trying to recreate a bit of the feel of the chaos for the period.
