So Eli suckered me into Flames of War a few years back with Arab Israeli War, then it was Team Yankee and now WWII. We usually play about 2-3 times a month and mostly WWII. Lately our games have been growing as more people show up to play our weekly or biweekly game. Note: Eli is the master of putting out a beautiful table and can provide numerous forces for players to try. Today I ran a quick 200 point desert battle for 4 guys still getting their feet wet. It was a blast! Our FoW group really has some of the easiest going players in the store. They are a joy to play with, and now we're up to potentially 10 players for Eli's big Kursk game in a month or two. Just some pics of todays game.

Looks Great! Thanks for posting.

Ive always thought 'early' desert period would be pretty fun to game. Valentines, Matilda's and Panzer III's as 'the' modern armor of the time.

Of course w/ the British Grants I can see this is a later period battle.

Are you playing FOW 4th?

Your tanks are supposed to be in side to side contact…you know, to be historically accurate.

Well Coopman we like to play on BIG BIG tables to avoid that crushed look. So for every 100 points we add another 4 feet.
Plus we really like putting out the terrain.
Tom, yes we are playing 4th. The newer players love the cards. I have to admit I'm use to the army builder sheets but kind of like the cards. I was happy to hear that they will be releasing the sets soon, good for those that have non BF figs.
