Looked fun
( hint don't put the Kalmucks in front next time)

Agreed

Kalmucks and Cossacks are best off scouting, pursuing broken enemies and stealing chickens

Hi 14Bore and Frederick! I agree too!

The History of my Russians is to blame! I got them to work with a small Russian force Lawrence (My opponent yesterday), had, when we played larger games.
I based it on the regiments forming the right wing at Zorndorf, so had a lot of light horse!
I have started ordering the left wing troops now, so I don't have to deploy the Cossacks et al to make up my points!
My Kalmucks were in front to protect my inferior Russian heavies from the Austrians. Truthfully, the Austrian Szechenyi hussars should have ridden over the Kalmucks and come a cropper during their pursuit against my Kuirassiers, who then could have pursued in turn into Regiment Bretlach, hopefully having disordered them first, well, that was the plan….!
