I am wanting to do a modern British army for my post apocalyptic endeavor, but have not been able to find any specific British figures in 15 MM. So, I am wondering if in 15 MM would I be safe using modern US infantry, but painted as British?

Thanks for any thoughts, help and/or suggestions

The camouflage pattern is virtually the same, MTP is just a British version of MultiCam. But the rifles are the major difference in 15mm, even at that size an M4 is very different to an SA80.

Old Glory/Skytrex do some Gulf War Brits in 15mm. They have the older style helmets and rolled up sleeves but they might work for you.

I believe Khurasan were planning some but I don't know how far they got and they're having one of their periodic halts to catch up with themselves at the moment.

If you decide to go 28mm, you won't go far wrong with Empress.

The Old Glory ones are nice (apart from the 81mm mortar).

QRF also do modern British in 15mm link

As Foxweasel says Modern US don't have the SA80, but you could say that they had been reequipped by the US….

Gentlemen, my sincere thnaks for the info and leads to other figure sources. I had been looking at Rebel Minis 15 MM modern US with some British SAS guys thrown in. Just FYI, I am a 15 MM gamer and HOTT is my rules choice for almost all of my gaming, except Napoleonic, which is DBN. So I don't need a lot of figures to make the army.
