Okay Ladies & Gent's, In the States if possible, but not a deal breaker. I need a ton of "barbed wire" & yeah, I know I can make it but I don't have time. So where would you go to get it, at a reasonable price? Many thanks in advance! Peter link |

Personally I like the Gale Force Nine offerings. I bought a roll of the 15mm scale wire and felt like it was a good deal. It looks good and the price was reasonable for me. But then I didn't need a ton of it. Here is a listing on Amazon for their larger scale wire. $9.10 USD for 18 feet of wire. Don't know how that works given the volume you need, but something to consider. More convenient than making it yourself. link |

Gale force 9 is also my choice for price and durability. Also If you want the wire to be rusty just soak the wire in vinegar and it comes out look great. |

I get a bag of cheap pipe cleaners from the dollar store and take a cigarette lighter to them to burn off the fuzz. I'm left with a woven wire that looks the part. |

Fly screen. Cut thin diagonals for the 'barbed' wire look. |

In the UK I use sealing wire, this is the stuff the gas board uses on the meter. £18.00 GBP bought me 1000m, so still have quite a bit left lol Regards Jez |

Ostroc, I've looked & looked for that here in States, with NO luck, damn it! I went with some of the Gale Force stuff. But yeah, Sealing Wire is really what I'd like to get, it's the same stuff, just a lot cheaper! Thanks everyone! Peter link |

Barbed wire? or Concertina/razor Wire? Secret Weapon Miniatures makes 28mm razor wire. It's pretty cheap for how much you get: $15 USD for 18 feet of actual sharp wire. Stuff will stick to your hands something fierce! link |
