I found an order of battle listing for the Battle of Amberg for "Trier infantry regiment" and I was wondering was that one of the many short term regiments that was raised by the German states for the campaigns. Mainz, Mannheim and other cities raised regiments as well on short term basis.

If so does anyone have an idea of what uniform pattern they wore? Was it similar to an Austrian uniform or more like the Hessians (Hesse-Darmstadt or Hesse-Kassel)?

Any help much appreciated!

Seem to remember I painted them from information dated from the 1780's uniform. Will have to find the battalion. The KurTrier regiment from the 1760 period linked below.
