Especially on Col Heymes…or at least his horse. The pose is straight out of the panorama from Waterloo. Heymes should have his sword upright. Perrys got that 100% right.

Ney did not have such luxuriant hair by then and was a bit heavier than the young lad portrayed in the famous image. Levavasseur tends to be forgotten, as his uniform is a bit dull.

Something this good has to be 1/72 scale. The anatomical proportions are superb. I am sure I have seen them unpainted here before.

I'd be willing to bet these are 54mm…Further that they are Historex. The wheel and the horses' tails are a good indicator that they are.

I love it when 54s are confused with 1/72 – shows how far 1/72 sculpting has come.

But yes Liam, you are right, you have seen this set in 1/72

Heymes is always outstanding but no one seems able to work out the basis of his uniform, other than the artist's preferences!

This set does not appear in PSR. Is it on the market yet? How do I find it?

It is a metal set. If I recall correctly I bought it from Waterloo1815. Not too badly priced, and I picked up the British command set at the same time
