Their church is worth a look as well…even if it is very Anglo-Norman. This cottage works very well for Northern France, although that was not my immediate reaction frankly. Try Googling "French Thatched Cottage" and see the images. Surprising that many still survive too. Great nostalgia trip. Mine was on a WWI airfield over 45 years ago |

Thanks Deadhead. Did some image searches for both France and Germany. That makes me feel much better about using this model for battlefields on the continent as it were. |
