If I want to do some interwar.. IRA v brit army stuff.. In 28mm preferably… Where would I look please.

I suggest Footsore miniatures for the people, Honourable Lead Boiler Suit Company and Sarissa precision for vehicles, and Oxford Aviation do a Bristol Fighter in 1/72 in the livery of an appropriate squadron from 1925. link

A Very British Civil War and various Gangster ranges are good sources for para-military, armed civilian types, for non-uniformed Irish rebels.

I use a mix of Reiver and Black Star Boers. The Boers need some modification. Reiver have built a whole line around Ireland -good stuff. A mix of civilian clothes, mufti, Irish Volunteer uniforms. Even Free Staters for Civil War
