In my latest game of Nuts! link I encountered a situation that I couldn't find any rules for – could someone point me in the right direction. The remnants of a German section that had the "Leave Battlefield" reaction ran straight into a group of US infantry that they hadn't seen behind them. I ruled on the spot that the Germans surrender, but is there a definitive answer?

Howdy, You handled that right! Makes sense intuitively, and in the NUTS! Compendium the Surrender rules are described. Basically if a figure has a Leave Battlefield or Hunker Down reaction and an enemy approaches within 6" in Line of Sight, the figure will Surrender. It will throw down its weapon and go hands up -- other friendlies within 4" must make a "Man Down" Crisis Test or surrender. One figure can guard up to 6 enemy prisoners. The Compendium also goes into prisoner handling, questioning, searching for stuff, etc., including a new Raid style mission to go grab an enemy for intel. Also, check out the Two Hour Wargames forum -- it's very active and you can get game questions answered quickly, either from TWH or other players: link Nice AAR, btw. Cheers! |
