Hello Again,

I hope is a quick question concerning weapons that have a variable number of attacks. For example Frag grenades (D6), some heavy weapons and assault weapons.

With these items do we roll the number of attacks first and then roll that many to hit rolls.

or…

Do we roll to hit first and if the hit is successful we roll the number of enemy models impacted.

Of course some items like flamers are auto hit so ignore those for this question.

What came first the chicken or the egg. :)

Thanks

I'm pretty sure you roll the number of attacks first and then throw that many dice.

Roll to see how many shots you get
then roll to hit

They are correct. Roll a d6, roll the result in number of dice for how many hits.

As noted you roll the number of hits – some enemy models can take more than one
