For Colours 2017 Loughton Strike Force put on a game of Marengo 1800, depicting the early stages of the battle where Austrian forces under FML von Kaim attempt to cross the Fontanone stream in the face of opposition from GdD Victors forces from the Army of Italy. Rules were the new General d'Armee Napoleonic rules, using the Marengo scenario straight from the General de Brigade "The Glory Years" scenarios volume 3.

Great report Dave.
Marengo is a very interesting battle, but there are not chances to win for the French.
