I have once again played around to see what I can come up with. I have been really interested in The Men Who Would be King rules from Osprey. Here is what I have come up with and I thought I would share some of what I have done.
I also printed out some of the above and I did a quick clean up to do these shots. In TMWWBK rules line cavalry units are 8 figures and Line infantry are 12 figures. I place some of the figures by a tape measure so that folks can see I have scaled them for 28mm. Yes it is indeed possible to do miniatures that look decent with a FDM printer.
As I stated before I just basically ripped off the supports and threw these together to take some pictures. Once fully cleaned and painted they will look very good indeed. I actually have figures done for Germans, French, Turks, Egyptians and Native forces such as American Indians, Zulus and Chinese/Southeast Asian troops including artillery. Please let me know what you think and if you have any interest give me a holler, thanks TMP collective. |

The field gun is a bit late, really just post Boer War. Up until then no recoil mechanism around the barrel, a few had proto-recoil mechanisms – a big rake with springs and rubber bands under the trail. The French 75 was the first really effective QF gun and it really upset the apple cart for Europe's military. Otherwise, keep up the good work. |

It appears that their helmets are extending too far down on their faces. |

How much are these costing you per miniature? Links to previous discussions perfectly acceptable. - Ix |

Fantastic work! I just got a 3d printer and one of my ideas is casualty markers for TSATF. Unless you'd be willing to share? |

I am doing the figures at .2 resolution in PLA on my CR-10. When some of them are fully painted I will post some more images on this thread. I am working on my space gorillas too. |
