I suppose it wouldn't kill me to post an actual image.

Just picked up the Death Guard codex and Plague Brethren – plenty of unique models for my youngest's force. It's pretty good – plenty of lore, from Heresy to Great Rift, and various interesting unique units. There's an article on Spikey Bits about using it as 'counts as' Dark Mechanicus, which sounds interesting. |

I know games workshop is expensive but this model set takes the cake. $60 USD for 3 infantry sized models is just ridiculous. |

I've jumped in with both feet and started building a Death Guard army myself (my second favorite Legion). I realized that waiting for an Emperor's Children codex could be a long wait indeed and I'd need something to do before then. Plus the little Blight Hauler demon engines pretty much clinched it for me, they're just so disgustingly cute, like a nightmare Herbie the Love Bug of death. |

I was hoping that was NZ or AUS pricing. $60 USD is completely insane for only three models. |

"I know games workshop is expensive but this model set takes the cake. $60 USD USD for 3 infantry sized models is just ridiculous." Horses for courses I guess. I seriously doubt anyone will ever run more then 5-6 in any game they're likely to play. More then likely they'll just pick up one box and that's all they're likely to want/need. They're expensive in both monetary terms as well as points. You can get them cheaper, around $45 USD-50USD at various stores on line. I'm picking up a squad. |

"I know games workshop is expensive but this model set takes the cake. $60 USD USD for 3 infantry sized models is just ridiculous." They are a little bigger than standard infantry sized models. $20 USD a figure doesn't seem too bad. |

To you maybe. But then you must be getting paid by gw, or they gave you a comp box for advertising them. As for the figure. At a gance it does not look much like a terminator. A cool enough fig I guess, I do like the weapon. But the mail looks far to uniform and neat for such a decaying wretch. |

It's all perspective. It is too much for me, not too much for him. Things I'd pay a premium for, others will balk at. It's all perspective. |

H-man, it does look very much like a terminator. That's heresy era cataphractii armour. I wonder how these will scale with other armour. The marines are a bit bigger. |

I meant at a glance. On closer inspection it's obvious enough. Though I was comparing it to the standard space marine terminator, the basis for the concept. Expansive is expensive. The guy on the news does not say "petrol is up 20 cents, though this only affects those who cant afford to pay 20 cents more". Some people drive around in Ferrari, no one would dispute that's an expensive car, now would they, even if they can afford it. |
