Having decided to commit to a very modest naval project for the Sengoku Jidai era in Japan, it will be desirable to purchase a sea mat from Cigar Box Battle Store.

Sadly, I have never set eyes on Japan's Inland Sea (though I certainly hope to within the next year or two). Photo searches have shown deep blue water in some photos, and lighter marine and green shades in other areas, perhaps due to varying depths of the water.

I'm hoping for advice from those who may have visited that area of Japan. Should I purchase the "Cold Water" mat, here:
