Paper model designer Shunichi Makino made a new version of the Millenium Falcon and it is awesome! Here are a couple of pics of my build of it.
… and a little photoshop fun :-)
As you can see, the model has great texturing and the detailing (check out the piping!) is just perfect. You can build it as an easy version (great for beginners) or with lots of little details (for which you should have a little experience with paper modeling). And the best news, it is free! You can get it here: www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~sf-papercraft/sf/falcon.html If you are interested in my build thread, where I talk a little about what to watch out for, go here: papermodelers.com/forum/alternate-dimensions/39313-shunichi-makinos-millenium-falcon-2017-a.html Enjoy! That is one of the coolest things I have seen on here in some time. I wish they'd use models like this for the movies over complete cgi. |

There are quite a few paper models for Star Wars, Star Trek, and other sci-fi there. With my meager modelling skills, I think this one is more at my skill level: PDF link |
