Now,it happens this was the very first info request I ever made here: TMP link Druzhina's account seems to have been suspended, which is a shame, though he may have moved his immense collection elsewhere. But you can dig through Camcleod's link. |

Late medieval Swiss (as in Burgundian wars) look different from those of the Wars of Religion – though they differ not more so then Napoleonics from ACW… TAG just released a set in 28mm which looks perfect for the WOT. If you find late Landsknechts in 15mm they should do the job, though I have no manufacturer handy (I only collect 28mm). Even Italian wars Landsknechts would do a better job to represent WOT Swiss then Burgundian wars, but of course its your army, and I have never seen somebody complain about an actually painted army on the table, regardless of historical details. I am just wisecracking here because you asked… |

Grumpy's Landsknechts are for this period link The style may not be to everyone's taste – if nothing else it shows just how different fashions were between 1470s and 1570s. Khurasan do landsknechts and a lot of other stuff in their late 16th century range link I think French millers and other specifically gallic types have been mentioned on the FB page. |

Note that Daniel posted that page just now, probably in response to this request but on the blog for permanent reference. If in doubt, I would always trust Daniel to get it right, so go there … :-) |

I have actually had that post sitting half finished for a couple of months but this request made me take the time to finish and post it in a slightly reducerade format. |

I've done some French over the last year for Khurasan, some specifically Huguenot horsemen, some Catholic pistoleers, some argoulets, and a number of infantry sculpts (conversions from existing figures). I imagine Khurasan don't mine me mentioning the figures here, but I can't answer any questions over timeframes, that's out of my hands. |

Glad to see your list is still available,Druzhina--I worried when I saw that "Account Suspended" Altervista page! And thanks, also,Daniel. I'm not very familiar with the period dress, but it looks as if some Elizabethan figures might work for the Swiss. What do you think? |
