The armies of Marwan II and Abdallah ibn Ali met on 25 January 750 AD. The chroniclers mention a skirmish having taken place the day before, but this re-fight focuses on the crucial day.

Players do have the option to increase the Umayyad numbers to reflect the disparity in sides and if chosen, then there should be some mechanism set in place to reflect the discontent among Marwan II forces.
