Thinking about bolt action with peter pig soldiers (the best in my opinion) and they have every body in the world, (well alas not Chinese guerrillas I suppose), to use on a 3 foot by 4 foot mat. Using centimeters. Thoughts?

Would work fine, though if you have the space use the normal rule measurements it will look so much better. We played a 1918 game using BA with my 15mm WW1 figures, it looked so much better than our 28mm WW2 games did that we all just shook our heads and wished we had gone with the smaller figures to start with.

Good point, I have to use my dining room table or use the game shops table. Dining room is 60/40 inches

it is a good idea but base them by group of 3-4, it can be very tedious to move 15mm figures individually.

Funnily enough my WW1 figures are the only ones I have who are singly based and I thought it would be a pain moving them individually too. In practice though it was exactly the same as when playing with my ww2 in 28mm as they are singly based as well. It really made no difference. I do intend to knock up some magnetic section trays for them all the same.

Yes if you base them up in groups then your team weapons can be done in the same way. You will not then be trying to move just the mortar or HMG. Again with this scale you can afford to have teams moving and teams deployed.

PP will if you contact the workshop make up the packs with specific figures in them.

Did the same, we base team weapons on one base and all the infantry individually. We use 28mm distances for everything else and after playing a few games I like it so much better with the 15mm figures.
