Well after trying to post on the exchange board, which takes you to a blank page.I have decided to go this route.
As my heading states, I am retreating from the Peninsular.
Some time ago my friends and I were thinking of getting back into Napoleonics, we chose the Peninsular.
I decided I was going to build a British army.
But everyone lost interest without really saying anything, and I being all gung ho on the idea bought a bunch of figures.
Now that everyone has bailed, I too have lost interest in the Peninsular, but that does not mean that you have to.
I am looking to trade what I have gathered for the Peninsular which are all Victrix and Perry miniatures plastic.
I have even assembled all of the infantry, so you don't have to mess about with any of that!
I have:
3 units of 24 British infantry, marching, advancing, and a firing line.
3 units of 24 Highland infantry, built in the same manner.
the remaining infantry figures in the boxes are left to be built.
The infantry are 16 men from the line, 4 lights, and 4 grenadiers, for a 24 man unit.
I also have a box of Victrix British artillery that has 15 figures, and 3 guns, not built.
1 box of Perry hussars
1 box of Perry light dragoons
1 unit of 12 Front Rank Scots Greys
I also have a couple of mounted colonels.
I am looking to trade these figures for NWF British and Pathans or ACW figures in 28mm.
You can email me at cavcrazy@hotmail.com, and let me know what you have, maybe we can work a trade.
Thanks,
Rich
