Interesting. Although rather than being from a Viking who got lost in a blizzard and died, the lack of other remains may just mean that the sword was lost during a storm. Buried in snow when it was dropped and the owner didn't miss it in time to dig it out. Or too concerned in that blizzard with getting somewhere safe to take the time to dig it out. |
