I have been hammering away at the annoying little details and seem to have turned the corner on this project. Things should move along fairly quickly after this

Holy crapsticks, that is amazing! I recently made some dark age fortifications for Saga and it nearly drove me mad, but that was a fraction of the effort and planning you've put into that. I hope you have a big enough table to actually use it! |

justBill, If you live near metro Detroit I could cut the foam for a star fort of your design at a nominal cost |

And what of the outworks? Will you be incorporating those elements, ravelins, etc.? Without the outworks, what is the dimensions of your 'beast'? Will be awesome when done. |

Early morning writer There will be a ravelin and I intend on building the inner edge of the moat and covered way, the outer slope will be provided by cloths with blue board underneath. The fort is just over five feet on a side, including the outerworks it would measure about fifteen feet on a side (obviously there will have to be some compression of the glacis to make things playable. I have been making good progress and hope to have it finished and ready for a game at Spartacon in Lansing this coming January |
