Am I the only one saddened by news that the Heart of the Empire is the next expansion?

I know that the Ewoks are not everyone's favorite. But the game was alternating big box small box chronologically through the first trilogy. The last box should have been a small box Endor.

Give us a couple of squads of little furry guys, another variant of storm troopers, and some speeder bikes. Dude, come on, the speeder bikes alone would have made the sale.

:(

Don't be silly! There are rules to Star Wars marketing, and one of them is that they will never produce two Ewoks in the same scale.

Anyway, the overall scale creep is so bad that if they DID produce a squad of Ewoks now, they'd look my West End Games Storm Troopers in the eye.

I love the Ewoks. When we were kids me and my mates all loved them too. We didn't think of them as cute teddy bears we loved them because they used awesome forest traps and swung through the trees armed with spears and clubs.
I think it's a shame there's so much negativity toward them. West End Games gave Chief Chirpa a great back story whereby he was insane and dangerous.
Sadly I don't think the Ewoks will ever get a fair representation in Imperial Assault but surely they'll feature in a game like Legion.

I was like 9 when RoJ hit the big screens so I don't mind them either.

But what chaps my hide is that it breaks the set. They went in perfect order for 5 sets and on the 6th they lose their minds. Literally nothing in the big box is from the original trilogy. The blister packs only have the Emp.

If Ewoks are released for any starwars game, I hope they have stupidly over-powered stats….
