Hello All,

Some basic questions on shooting in 40K 8th edition.

A unit shoots a unit. The attacker roll to hit and the then rolls to wound.

If the target unit has mixed toughness models. How does that get resolved.

It is not until you have determined the # of wounds that the defender assigns wounds.

Thanks

I believe you use the majority toughness to determine the wounding roll.

So further research reveals that only a few Ork units have ammo grunts with a separate Toughness.

No more Nobs trougher than the boys.

The ammo runt has a specific rule that states you use the Toughness of the boys.

Thanks
