So Hollywood has had it's hands on Elfquest for at least 10 years now and no movie/series/TV show has come out of it.

So I was wondering, what do you think would be the best media for Elfquest to come out in? Movie, Netflix(esq) Series, TV Show, Live Action, Animated?

I can't imagine anything but animation working here.

I'm pretty sure someone somewhere has the rights to make a movie about that guy who saw the two rainbows. Many years ago, I gave up being excited / apprehensive/ appalled / whatever about what properties Hollywood was indefinitely squatting on. At least they can't ruin what they won't make.

For some reason when I read the thread title the comic strip SnarfQuest came to mind. i don't even know what elf quest is; but SnarfQuest was in the back of Dragon magazine back in the 80's. It was hilarious.

I love Elfquest when it 1st came out. Even met the artists at a con way back when. If they do it I hope they do it right. I would love a live action but not sure that would work, animations might be the best.

I see to recall that Pini's tried to make an animtaed version decades ago.

And Wendy was involved in animated project of Moorcoc's Elric (there is an art book. Law and Chaos, about it from 80's)
