Registration was supposed to close this weekend. And I know some of you have questions. However please understand the majority of us working the issues live in the Tampa Bay and central sections of Florida. Currently dealing with Hurricane 2017 :) Widespread damage and power outages are expected. It may be awhile before we get to your questions or concerns. As soon as we know anything about the hotel we will of course post it. With 3 weeks to go and the hotel in the Orlando area, right now, we are anticipating Hurricon 2017 will go on as scheduled. Thank you and keep a good thought for us please. |

I've got my fingers crossed for you. We can replace toys, we can do another show next year, but our friends and fellow humans are irreplacable. Be safe! |

A good many of our members and board have checked in and thankfully no serious injuries. Amount of damage to individuals homes and property varies but once again, so far, nothing overly serious. Still many without power. HURRICON is very much still on as scheduled and I think many of us, after what we have gone through and are going through, are looking forward to the break! My thanks to the outpouring of good thoughts and prayers from the folks here on TMP. All of us appreciate the show of support and solidarity that has been expressed both publicly and privately. |

Marc, Southern Front '16 was held while H'cane Matthew raged outside the venue – the only issues we had were very minor flooding (through a window in the main gaming area) and a power outage the primary impact of which was a person stranded in an elevator until the fire department could get them out. Games went on despite the power outage, using a variety of light sources, including candles – Arkham Horror by candlelight if you can imagine that ! |

Great to hear that it is still on. I will pack my truck next week and be ready to go for a nice visit to see my friends in Florida. |
