When engaging in an armor battle are your mechanized forces properly equipped? Or do your friends snigger when your stuff shows up.

Having just finished a desert game with Africa Korps forces, nobody laughed, especially when a lucky shot from my 8 Rad immobilised a Matilda and killed 1 of the crew. Describing the accompanying Italians as armour generally does raise a smile.

Learning the hard way I make sure my Leopard's have mine rollers available and 1 or two engineering vehicles and a couple of bridge layers if needed. Their guns and armour are up to scratch as are their communications. So yes they are definitely up to scratch. Plus being plastic they don't suffer silver scratches :-).

I am known in my local group for my preference for the early war "also rans" of WW2. Reactions vary, from sniggers to "I expected you to bring a litter of tanklettes for this game". Yes, the collective noun for CV3s, TKs or similar in the local games group is "litter" and individually as a tanklette!

And yes, what ever that vehicle is, I will take a dozen. ;)

Have not used WWII tanks for a while but they served pretty well – my Warhammer Leman Russ tanks (painted in classical ambush colours) are fairly well respected

As is my solitary FT-17 that I use for interwar China war games

You can never have enough tanks.

Working on it,near 2 dozen T-72's 15 T-64s,6 Panzer IIIs(and building more),2 Panzer IVs,a Tiger I(all in 15mm and for FoW/TY). In a recent mega battle TY game,I lost 4 of 10 T-64s in my force, but they kept fighting, one of my teammates, lost most of his tank force and his was supposed to be stronger. But we still managed a well fought win with help a-plenty.

My opponents do not fear my tank forces. But then again, I was a Navy officer, so maybe I'm using them wrong …

As long as I have plastic and my 3D printer works, I will NEVER be outnumbered in tanks again!

Well I have an early WW2 German Tank Battalion at 1:1 model to tank ratio with a STuG support company, SP artillery and AT support including logistics. So I think I'm good there. My Brits on the other hand need some beefing up.
